florida seiboldii RARE

This unusual clematis has a flower that looks like a passionflower. The 10cm diameter flowers have six creamy - white outer tepals in summer which overlap to make a fully rounded flower. In the centre is a dramatic tuft of purple stamens 5-6cm across, these remain for a week or more after the outer tepals have fallen away. The flowers are sterile but the plant can sometimes revert to Cl. florida Plena. Best grown through other plants or in a container. Ht. 2-3mt. P.G. 3.
